The MUSES variously whisper fragments from WELLES’ “foreword” to his un-filmed script The Road to Santiago.# WELLES recalls tiny fragments from HIS 5 December 1957 memo* to Universal questioning the studio’s re-editing of Touch of Evil. V/O ORSON recalls several fragments from WELLES’ voice-over at the beginning of his un-filmed HEART OF DARKNESS+ and two lines of dialogue from TOUCH OF EVIL^.
